I created all the inventions presented on this site over a 40-year career. More than 120 products have been licensed and manufactured by toy, game, and novelty companies. However, I have also created hundreds more that were rejected. Rejection is something that an inventor has to live with. There are a myriad of reasons why a manufacturer rejects a product. Some make sense and some do not. The most seasoned and successful inventor has had major disappointments but learns not to take the rejections as a personal affront. I have great respect for all my fellow inventors whom I have met over my long career. I have never witnessed jealousy among the ranks. We all know how difficult it is to be “published.”

To be the best is often unattainable but to try your best is something you can always do. H.W.
